  • i enjoy working at store, but i hate to go home late! need to brush up more on my language skills esp malay and hokkien.. as well as how to deal with irate customers..

i think my environment is very learner-friendly.. i have learnt alot, and the bosses give me opportunities to deal with customers as well as tips on store operations. some ppl feel that its not good that a couple are in the same line of work, but i think the experience so far has been pretty good. perhaps not in the exact same line but a complementary one?

    shall see how it goes..

and, seems like the no. of thieves these days are increasing..

  • some people are really ridiculous, esp ppl who attack ppl whom they've never met/seen bef. i cant believe such people exists..

and i am doing some deep thinking with regards to faces and masks at work.. i'm really bad at dealing with barbed attacks. coz i'm not sure whether they are doing it on purpose, or just joking. haha. i'm not sure if its coz i'm sensitive, or just really out of it.

anyway, another 2 days bef going to store! time to stand whole day!

p/s: read "a thousand splendid suns" yesterday and i totally teared at the last part where jalil wrote a letter begging forgiveness from miriam! it is so sad.. at least this novel is not as disgustingly graphic as "the kite runner". the higher level of violence turned me off, though the storyline and plot was riveting.

    cheers, off to sleep!

and, i hate heels! makes my knee pain

  • watched the anime "graves of the fireflies" a war time storyline.. it really touches the heart. highly recommended!!

i am so gonna buy dan brown's "the lost symbol"! everybody is reading it. i dun wanna be lagging behind heh.

and, weighing myself at the airport the other day, i have gained weight!! omg. i (almost) cant believe it! and having a deskbound(?) job would surely make matters worse..

i reali reali reali feel the inertia of starting work..

    came across this http://www.datingish.com/712214534/the-types-of-guys-you-find-at-an-engineering-school/

and i reali agree!!! Type 1 is super prevalent. i always hate it when i have an opinion/idea to share but these guys just totally ignore me or think my idea sucks even before i open my mouth! pigs.. but the world has alot of such guys. ESPECIALLY in engineering, where boys are touted to be better.

type 4 exists too, but as the article points out, most are attached. hmm, i WONDER why. in a sea full of MCP guys, who wouldn't snap up these fishes?? on a side note: thanks mike for the short chat! i'm glad that i've frens like him :)

type 5 needs more time to warm up, but they are usually not so accomodating as type 4. type 5 will treat u like a kid brother, so not much help in the carrying stuff, buying food dept. BUT they are generally fun to be with, and care, up to a certain extent.

i've experienced 2,3 and 6 but they're not worth mentioning..

and all the guys usually can name and gossip about the top 5 prettiest girls in the cohort, coz the rest of us plain janes do not exist. unless u are in their clique. how shallow is that? ha! their eyes just slide over u like you're not there, macham invisible shield.

us girls usually know each other, by face or name, but we also tend NOT to hang out with each other, unless, we are the same clique. unfortunately, each clique usually consists of 2-3 girls max... (serious. i have not seen a clique in mae where there are more than 3 girls as part of a group)

with that, signing of to watch reruns of fate/stay night!

  • just read "about a boy" by Nick Hornby. Pretty good i must say

    1 week left to slack!!

and i just spent ard 200bucks on clothes. which are mostly inappropriate for work..

miss talking to esther already! heh. hopefully they'll like the chocs that i bought..

now i shall try not to get lost while driving to SIM and Vivo.. haa. keep your fingers crossed!! lunch and chat!

sometimes, the way businesses try to cut costs are really ridiculous. and yet, some spend so liberally! i dun get it

  • have decided to accept the ETP program under Cold Storage..

although the pay and benefits for this 1 yr wont be fantastic, i think i can learn alot and move on from there. i dun wanna go thru the hassle of applying, interviewing and waiting any longer! haha.

so, i'll have 1 week of holiday bef i start work. (ending my temp next week! since i started last week of jul)

i'm so gonna chill out man.
